, is a professional indoor football league that was created in 2019 and was the first wholly owned league developed by FCSE and is also the first sports league that gives fans control over all of the key decisions made for their favorite team.
The concept of FCF was born in 2015, when the founders had a unique idea: to buy a football team and hand over all the decisions to the fans. They were successful in implementing this concept with an arena football team in Salt Lake City as part of the Indoor Football League. That team's fans selected the name (Screaming Eagles), designed the logo and jerseys, helped recruit players, hired their coach, and even picked the beer and concessions that were served in the stadium on gameday. This experiment far exceeded anyone's expectations, leading to the creation of FCF, which is an entire league of fan-controlled teams designed specifically to engage the modern fanbase.
FCF's fan-controlled approach extends to all aspects of the league. For instance, fans were involved in designing and choosing the logos for all eight franchises in the league, with the winners of the design competition receiving a prize, team gear, and recognition on social media. These logos were designed for teams like the Glacier Boyz, Zappers, Beasts, and Bored Ape Football Club, each with their unique color scheme and design, reflecting the individual identities of the teams
Each team in the FCF is owned in part by a group of celebrities who help to drive mass awareness and fan adoption of the league. These well-known owners include a mix of NFL legends, grammy winning musicians, active professional athletes from various sports and social content creators who collectively have hundreds of millions of followers across key social media channels.
FCF has key strategic global distribution partnerships with Amazon's Twitch, Comcast's NBCU, DAZN and Fubo Sports - all of which broadcast Season 2.0 of FCF, with over 30m live viewers tuning in to watch and and participate in the interactive experience. FCF has been nominated for 3 Emmy awards for its innovation around sports content production and fan experience.
Based on this scaled fan reach and engagement, FCF has successfully secured millions of dollars worth of sponsorships from dozens of major brand partners including Progressive Insurance, Wendys, Gatorade, IBM and Beam Suntory (Hornitos).
