Governance Council Members

The Control Foundation is organizing a five-member council to manage the governance of the Control Protocol. These individuals will shoulder two main tasks. First, they will review proposals put forward by $CTRL token holders, verifying these suggestions adhere to the Control Protocol's governance documents before allowing $CTRL token holders to vote on them. Second, they will act as administrators, ensuring that passed proposals are carried out correctly and effectively.

The first council members will serve for one year. After this period, $CTRL token holders, and even former council members, can nominate themselves for the next council term. All future council members must be voted in by $CTRL token holders in yearly elections. Council members will serve for a full year. If a council member does not follow the council's rules or acts against the Control Protocol's best interests, other council members can remove them from their position.
